Open Culture and the Liverpool Daily Post have launched a unique project to celebrate the impact Liverpool has had on the world.
We are creating a map showing where the people of Merseyside think the boundaries of Liverpool really lie, geographically, historically and culturally.
The map will highlight Liverpool's local, national and global influences, including the historical context, such as the 800th year anniversary boundary and where it all began with the original 6 streets.
The local vote has now closed and we need to you to tell us locations from across the world which need to be marked up on the map as being influenced by Liverpool.
To follow the debate so far visit the Daily Post Website
Once all the nominations are in, the final outcome will be an artistic representation of the 'Liverpool Map' which will go on display in the new Museum of Liverpool in 2010.
