Open Culture and The Liverpool Echo are running Benchmark, an open competition for the general public to design benches to mark the Capital of Culture year and to adorn the Liverpool streets in 2008 and beyond.
The deadline for submissions has passed, so good luck to all who sent us designs. We have had a massive response with many imaginative designs.
The designs have been shortlisted and these will go to public vote at the start of April 2008 through the Liverpool Echo in print and online.
